Default Rallyrunner Seat opinions

Is anybody using the Rallyrunner seat on their Streetglides? What is your opinion on looks and comfort for the rider and passenger?

I had one on my Street Bob. I know the SG model may be different, but I did'nt think the quality of the leather was that great, and the little lady did'nt like it. I went with a Road glide seat and like it. Texas Fat Boy has a thread on it. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...lide-pics.html He has some good pics. You can find them used like new, or new take offs cheap . Hope this helps.

Had one on my roadglide. Uncomfortable, didn't fit well at gas tank. It does sit you lower and further back however.

When I first bought my 09 Streetglide, the dealer was out of Reach seats and since I'm 5'6 I bought a Rallyrunner seat. It sat me back from the bars about 2 or 3 inches and down about 1 inch. If you have really long arms it might be a great seat EXCEPT that it fits around the tank console horribly. It leaves the wires exposed where they exit the bottom of the console. Worst 360.00 that I have spent on my bike.

That's all bad news as I bought one on E-bay and it should be arriving today. I guess I never thought that it wouldn't fit the tank or console. What are they thinking??

well the rest of the guys are right, the fit against the tank is horrible!!! But the seat it self... I love the comfort of it, and how I sit when I use this seat, meaning I'm lower and farther back from the bars. That being said, for long rides, man its hard.. I will be sore after a 400 mile day, thats for sure... My wife loves the comfort of it, even over the stock seat, I just havent found another one that I like looks wise....
