Ya just got unlucky with the leak and that sucks. What blows my mind, is that they can't fix it.

Usually, if all parties are acting in good faith, the seller is required to make good on the sale - offer a repair, refund or replacement. But your related expenses - like a screwed up vacation - are not the dealer's problem.

It sounds like they are trying to do right by you. Don't push too hard.

Agreed. It does sound like they're trying to make it right. Although, if you or they wiat too long, the '06s will be gone. Then what will they do?

Keep the faith, now and then a bad one will slip through. Sounds like the dealer is trying to make it right.

Just left the dealership. They found a needle bearing that had walked it's way off of a shaft coming through from the tranny, and that rubbed against the seal. So they replaced everything and it sounds like it's good to go. They had never seen anything like it. The factory assembly had a glitch in it so that's that...

Thanks to all for the words of support...It's like having one of your kids in the hospital!!!
