roads are not flat and the front tire wears accordingly. check your body position also and take your billfold out of your pocket and store elsewhere. LOL.
my 01 ultra runs straight as an arrow - typically do 10-15 miles on the highway on cruise with no hands (i know, bad idea, but in west texas, there isn't much to hit besides roadrunners)
Very true, most are sloped a little out from the middle to allow for rain run off.
My 06 Ultra does the same thing though, drift a little to the middle of the road. I don't suspect any problems.
I have found that if I sit in the passenger seat with my arms crossed, I have more control over the bike than trying to steer with no hand in the drivers seat. (A trick I learned from my motorcycle mentor, Herb Otis, RIP)
This may sound stupid, try no hands riding on a hwy. Stay in the most center lane, because a road needs drainage. Left lane has a pitch to the and the right pitch to the right in most cases. You may have know that.
