Default Chrome Inner Primary 2000 FLHTC

Hi all,
I have a 2000 FLHTC that I would like to put a chrome inner primary on and the accessory cataloge says they only make them for 2001 to 2007 Part # 60739-01.

My question is, are all 1999 to 2007 TC88's the same I know HD eliminated the greese fitting for the shifter pivot but other than that what would be diferent?

I know someone out there will know, who probibly ran into this same issue.
Thanks in advance
Dave

Research revealed the following for you:

"2001 and newer will not work as the bolt pattern to transmission is not the same. The difference is one bolt. The rear bolt that is even and behind with the transmission shaft is one quarter of an inch off from the 2001 model. The inner primary is the same one used from 1994. The bastard year for the inner primary is 1993 when the oil bag was moved under the transmission. They used the taper main transmission shaft as prior years. In 1994, they changed to the spline shaft and changed the starter pinion shaft bushing. The inner primary was used from 1994 to 2000.The only way to change this is to change the transmission case to a 2001. If you change the case, you will be able to use the later inner primary. Other than that, there is no difference."
