Ok, this is how I do it.Slide the rubber boot that covers your clutch cable adjustment down to expose the adjustment nuts. Use, I believe a 9/16" and a 1/2" wrench to loosen the lock nut. Then, loosen the lock nut all the way util it won't go any further. Now, take the long nut there and do the same thing. This will take all of the tension off of the lever. Once you do that, then remove the derby cover. Use an 11/16" wrench and place it over the nut in the very center of the clutch. Get whatever allen wrench that fits the center bolt that the nut threads onto, and while holding the allen wrench on the center screw, loosen the nut two or 3 turns. Unscrew the center bolt ,then tighten it until it just touches or when you feel slight pressure. Leave it in that positiuon and tighten the nut against the center screw. Now, you clutch is in adjustment. Then, go back to the adjustment sleeve and adjust it until the lever is about 1/8" from the clucth perch. Then, go ride. Do this with the bike wram , and not cold like the manual says.Hope that helps.

i switched mine over to a bdl enclosed belt drive and have never had a problem. o yea and no more changing oil in the primary since it is now a dry clutch. just make sure you vent the primary to keep it cool. two 1" holes on the inner, small washers in between the inner and outer and vented inspection covers does the trick.

Or at least use anti-sieze, and don't over torque them. I forget the torque value but it's not much.
