I use the "hot hands" packets in my gloves while deer hunting and they even make them for your feet. You can either buy the socks with the pockets "similar to your gloves" or just slip them in your boots.

However, I have the electric gloves and jacket liner for riding the bike. Gloves plug into the jacket arms and the jacket plugs into my seat. I brought a plug right up between the rider and passenger seats. Easy plug in, easy out. The cords are long enough to plug in before you get on the bike, or get off, then unplug.

No comparison...your decision, but try them and you'll never look back.

Nice idea. I have a Costco card. So I'm going to give these a trial the next time I'm out in the cold.

Local Sports Authority did not have them, but I have mine on order online. Maybe I will get to try them out next week, if the rain stops.

We found them online @ REI.com. Recreational outfitters, like Cabella's, Dick's, etc

REI price was $15.00 and a pack of 10 little hotties was $10.00.

Rode on 02 JAN 10 in 14 degree weather just for SandG. One mile at interstate speed made me come home wimpering. I've ridden on the East Coast at 22 degrees on a transit mission, but it was too dang cold for me this year. Gettin older, softer, who knows.

Thanks for the info.
