I bought these also thanks to this thread and got a chance to try them out on jan first. They do work and tend to last a long time but you have to have a good sealed glove to make these work good. If your outer glove is old or lets any air in they do not work worth crap. So piece of advise is make sure you get a good windproof outer glove and these will be the best investment considering they are cheap and take up very minimal room. Also, when you are at your destination, make sure you keep the liners in the gloves and keep the gloves in a nice enclosed area, this way the heat pack lasts longer and is nice and hot when you put them back on. My heat packs lasted from 11-7 without a hitch.
