mjsawatzky's is sharp.......but I like most of the others like the bar. It did its job great on a garage off the jack roll off and to me, just fits the big cruiser look.

But tweaking to our own likes is what its about!

Exactly! I dropped my RK at a standstill once and the guards kept the bike from suffering any damage. Also had a soft lower on the engine guard so it didn't even get scratched either.

I have lost count how many times the front and rear "crash" bars have spared me from spending $$ on repairs. I bought my bike without the saddlebag bars but I quickly found a used set and put them on pronto! The "clean" look is fine and dandy until your first tip over.

I thought of removing mine many times. About the time I thought I would never drop my bike, I did. Sure glad they were still on.

I used to think of taking my crash bar off of my classic, went down in September and took quite a hit. They really saved my ****, now I know not to consider that option anymore...

Yeah I have to admit putting 'em back on is something I've thought about a few times. At least to protect in case of a low speed mishap, backing out of the driveway, gravel etc. I just don't like the way they look on my bike. Others....I never even take notice. Just not on mine. Not right now anyway. Maybe after I crack 'er up a little I'll wise up. Thanks for the compliment IndyClassic!!
