I am looking for a pickup ramp to load the Rk with. I found this one at http://www.motorcycleramps.com/rrextender.htm. Its pretty neat but not sure it will work, just not sure if the 1000lb weight limit would be enough without having to take stuff off our out of the bike. Would also like to see some examples of what you guys are using. Any help would be great.
I gotta tell ya, I hate loading bikes into trucks. It's just an accident waiting to happen. But, if you must, get one that will secure to the rear bumper for loading. And, make sure it is a smooth enough surface so that a bike will actually roll over it. I have seen some that are like riding it over a ladder. Not good. And be careful. I would rather see you get a small trailer to haul it with.

Yea i agree, I am leaning toward a trailer but I have seen nightmares with trailers, i was thinking it would be better since you would be traveling as one unit, but guess not seems like there is a lot involved with trucking it, I guess i will just have to ride it.
just a heads up i have 8 ft long 40 inch wide black widow ramps. and THERE NOT LONG ENOUGH. when loading the bike it feels like i'm in the space shuttle. so i have to get the back of the truck at least two feet lower than where the ramp is going to sit. then there is the problem of unloading. make sure if your going to buy ramps there at least 10 -12 feet long.... hay wanna buy my ramps. used only 4 times.
I'd take that puppy, weld some aluminum diamond plate over it, extending it abot 10 " per side. Then ruberize or epoxy and sand coat it for extra traction. You don't want to loose balance and have no where to put your feet down, even if you have buddies helping you push it up. May have to make the extra side extensions hinged so the fold neatly on top, but when extended, rest on supports. but this'd be a better choice, http://www.motorcycleramps.com/black_widow.htm
or fab one up yourself..
Seems you could have one that laid neatly between the wheel wells on the floor and slide out and hook on made pretty reasonably.
