Who rides all winter?
Who rides all winter?
I am looking for opinions on a better face / neck scarf and better gloves for the Dallas / Fort Worth, TX area. It only gets down into the teens usually, but what I got ain't working so much on those morning commutes ( about 60 miles ).

I live in Az so I ride pretty much all year here, I just have to put on an extra sweatshirt for the morning commute( I leave my house at around 5am and have to travel thru some agricultural areas at first) and a heavy coat.

Can't really help below freezing, (never rode below freezing..but right at it) but I have a fleece head and neck gaiter that I wear under my helmet/jacket. I bought it in the hunting dept at Wal-Mart.
Very cozy at 32* and up.

I wear Harley heated jacket liner/gloves fleece face cover Winter silk brand long johns and double socks knee high from Boot Barn of course good heavy leather full face helmet then doesn't matter any temp as long as no ice on the road

Try REI.com or any ski shop or ski wear online. Look for "balaclava" Dick's Sporting Goods is in your area and even in Texas they may have ski gear.
