I have the Hogg Chop Lowers and find them very functional when the temperature drops. Although there is still some wind, it is very much reduced. Plus I like big bikes and the lowers add to the appearence of size.

I usually take mine off in the summer ... there are three bolts that mount them, and the MoCo makes a quick release kit ....
