How long until we get the recall notice, or will they classify this a another TSB and wait till the owner complains with the proper wording to qualify?
Step 1) I printed out the PDF file Dawg posted and took it to my dealer,
Step 2) My Service manager said it could only be fixed if the owner complained and asked for it to be fixed.
Step 3) So I said "I am asking for it ot be fixed".
Step 4) Now we will wait for my dealer to order the parts
Step 5) and for Harley to make the parts
Step 6) and for Harley to ship the parts tp my dealer
Step 7) and wait for my dealer to contact me that they have the parts
Step 8) and then wait for the dealer to set a date to fix the problem.
Step 9) and then for my dealer to actually get my bike in and fix the porblem.
Thank gawd it's the slow time of the riding season.
It's nice the MOCO fessed up and ratted on themself then volunteered to fix it at their expense.
Now I waana see them step up and admit to a few other things..Things like IDS and a missing third link and a weak comp sprocket and crank runnout and cracked exhaust headers and all those things that make a Harley so special......Kinda like Microsoft makes us windows users have to become computer experts instead of simply computer users.
