I'm thinking you may want to consider (or at least start researching the threads here on) aftermarket shocks. May save you time and money in the end. But be warned -- there's a lot of art and science out there in the field of suspension.
Take a short cut by searching on 'Ohlins'. That will identify recent threads on rear shocks that cover the usual brands. My bike is much earlier but I have ordered Ohlins #3 from Howard of Motorcycle Metal, HDF sponsor. He gives generous discounts to HDF members so give him a call.
My I am 200lbs and the wife is 120lbs and we run 45-50 lbs. We are very comfortable and have many long runs under our belt on a variety of road conditions. I have no problems riding solo at 20-25 lbs. I run a little more air when riding twisties agressively. I would not change shocks until I spent time playing with the pressure.
