Default How much air pressure

I have a 09 Road King and would like to know how much air pressure you are running in the rear shocks. I weigh about 220 and always ride solo. Thanks for your help.

I run 40 lbs all the time. It seems to work great for my wife and I (120lbs + 160lbs). I usually leave it at 40 when I ride alone because I don't feel like messing with it.

I run between 20 and 25 lbs in mine. I ride an 09 Ultra and the bike rides a little stiff. But that is the way I like it so I see no need to change it.

I'm 260 lbs and I keep about 25 p.s.i. in the rear shocks of my '09 UC. I also ride solo all of the time.

Pump them up to 40 psi and go for a ride.
Stop every 5 miles to let out 5 pounds....you'll find your sweet spot.

I also have an '09 RKC and weight about the same as you. I've found 28.5 to be perfect for me riding solo. It glides over bumps, etc... but if you hit a big one get ready to have your spine moved to the back of your throat. I move off the seat when I see a big one but thats not always possible. I think I have it set to 45 psi for two up but havent been two up much to see if other settings work better.

I try to keep mine between 28-30 psi ... I normally run solo and this seems to be a pretty good sweet spot for me.
