2010 flhx
So I will be purchasing a Denim Black 2010 FLHX this spring and was quoted $23k with alarm and cruise control (no ABS). I think this is a little high. This will be my first bike and I want to get it right.I rode my dad's 08 SG in sturgis and fell in love with it. Any pointers? Does this price sound about right, or am i getting ripped off?

Call this number. http://www.chicagoharley.com/shop/. I don't know what they're selling them for now, but I bought my '08 for two grand under MSRP, with no freight or set-up charges as well. Whatever price they quote you will give you a little knowledge and possibly give you some negotiating power with your local dealer. To me that price does sound high.

I just bought a 2010 Vivid Black SG at Reimans H-D in Kewanee, IL. with cruise and alarm for $20,956 out the door... they did cut me a break on the price because I was ordering $2200 in H-D goodies as well... but seems to me your quote is a little high.

Recommend you buy before spring
That price seems high. Online with Cruise, ABS I think they are about 19.5K.
If you can deal in Jan/Feb if in colder state, you may do better than waiting for spring. In the spring, everyone who is going to buy is out shopping. If you are close to Pa. and are interested in some agressive dealers, PM me.
