OK, the first power commander was bad out of the box, I got a whopping 80 miles out of the second one. anybody else had a problem with this product, thinking about scrapping it and going to the SERT. any thoughts?
I started having problems with mine shortly after installing it. The Harley dealer said it was the PCV. Jaime said no way it was the PCV. The next week it went out completely and Jaime replaced it. Have not had a problem since.
Bike will only start with throttle applied, runs about 3 seconds even if you try to rev it up
Remove the PCV and re-connect in stock configuration. Does it still act up? If so, check the pins on the connectors, as if one or more are bent it can cause errant behavior.
PCV failures are rare, and having two bad ones right out of the box sounds very odd to me.
