Naw. The HF aluminum works fine and I use one all the time. It does wiggle a little but it never gives me the impression it'll let me down. Do what you're comfortable with though.

I have to post a vote on the all steel HF one that's pretty much identical to the black Sears Craftsman unit. Cheaper and rebuildable with a new small bottle jack. I borrowed a HF jack and left it up for a few days. I like its ability to be easily lowered slowly which allowed for a much easier rear tire installation. It has stops at varied levels which I also liked, is safer and allows you to relieve the pressure off the jack.
So next payday I see a HF unit coming home with me.

Thumbs up Not a problem

Had mine for 2 years. Kept the RG up all winter. I use a 15" x 1" pipe between the arms for safety over a long period like winter. Fits the 09 frame nice. Both me and my brother use ours all the time with no problems at all.
