Tell you what, heheheh, you come on over and clean up my garage and I'll teach you how to use a lift.
Deal?
Thanks for the ribbin' and as you probably know by now I know how to "get-er-done".
Uh, by the way, let me see your garage and your bike's on a lift showing us you work on your own bike.
I guess my overall "Problem" is .....I once bought a jack from HD back in 93. It was a Yellow jack and they called it a Yellowjack I alwayways thought it had referance to the bee......
Anyhow this thing was steel and rock solid and cost 350 bucks back in 93!
Used to lift my old fat boy up and down and it was solid and the bike was solid on it...
Now I get this aluminum HF thing that looked exactly like the yellow jack from yester year and I notice how cheep it really is. Being an IRISHMAN and a believer in Murphys LAW....my bike will fall off this thing and at the worst possible moment. That much I know.
I will be getting another jack just for this reason. AND TO ALL a Merry Xmas!

And just for that reason you should not use it. I wouldn't use any tool I wasn't comfortable with for safety reasons.
I have the Kobalt Motorcycle jack from Low's. Only $89.00 a couple of years ago. It works great. I had to work in Japan for 9 months and jacked the bike up to keep the wheels off the ground. When I came home it was still solid as a rock.
I bougth a Pit Bull this summer for my Street Glide. Got it on sale. Very sturdy, no need for tiedown straps, and I can slide it under the Street Glide while on the kickstand and put the bike up and down without anyone's help.
