Took a trip out of town. The whole way it feels like I need a 7th gear. I recently disconnected my battery. Could my PCI III have "lost" its map and is back to the stock one? Any other ideas?

I am shocked to hear that at 70/75 you need to go to 7 th gear on a stock gear ratio. Most of my customers complain to me to do something about there 6 speed trans. so they can go into 6 at lower mph. Well if you are not happy Baker sell a 7 speed trans.

No, it can't in any way be related to the PCIII or any other fueler.

It's most likely a slipping clutch........That's easy to fix providing it's not damaged.

dig up all the info you can here on how to adjust your clutch properly. Start in the derby and then do the cable adjustment.
