I was searching through Craig’s List the other night and come across a guy selling a pair of V/H true dual exhaust for 200 bucks. So I call him and meet up later that night and grabbed them. I was really excited about the deal I got. So I just spent the last five hours taking my exhaust off and changing everything out. Everything was going along fine until I discovered the left side needed a mounting kit, which of course the pipes I got did not come with… so my Harley is in a bunch of pieces, I have to wait till tomorrow to call V/H and get an installation kit, I have to call Power Commander III because they don't have a map with my mods… not a good day at all…
Well the guy called me after I called him and we spoke. He had the mounting bracket I needed. I drove an hour one way, got home and figured I could bang away at the bike for an hour before going to bed. Story of my life. The bracket doesn't fit, so I will be calling V/H anyway tomorrow.
