Default non cat headers

I am on vacation and while I have other projects (see sig.) I also have a set of noncat headers sitting in my shed. Is it worth the time and effort to pull the stock headers instal the new headers and do some tuning with my TTS - what do you all think?? Will it cause a difference I will notice while riding? Should I just sell the header and some other things and do rear shocks instead?

2009 stock headers don't have a cat unless it's a California model, in either case I would leave them alone.

Nope I disagree, if you fersure have cats, swap the headers and retune.....you will lose lots of heat and gain a few HP and better throttle response.....The only prob you might have will depend on how dexterious you are with the TTS in resetting the tune yourself. You might wanna chat with the guys at The Turbo Store if you have problems retuning it.

reports from fullsac and fuel moto are that the cat equiped headers are equal in performance to the non cat headers until you have an engine capable of 90+ hp. some are reporting a reduction in heat with non cat headers but some feel this is more a result of proper tuning.
