When happened to me recently, I found one of the two bolts for the footrest mount to the frame loose. A quick wrenching of muscle in my shoulder and It was all good. For the scooter anyway.
One has to expect a loose bolt on occasion, I don't care who you are. Just continue to be attentive to the quirks and vibrations. This site has been of assistance to me already, and I didn't even have to pose the question.
SWEET!
My buddy just showed be his badly cupped front tire on his 08 SG. We were trying to guess the cause of that. Same as yours (plenty of tread) but badly cupped.
Anyone have a clue what would cause that besides bad rubber? (He keeps up with air pressures).
Balancing. Try running dyna beads. It'll run like it's on glass for the life of the tire. Take 'em out and reuse them again.
For Flyboy: It's an outside chance but your rear tire might be out of balance. Again; the dyna beads would correct it. If it was the front tire you would feel it in your handlebars of course.
Are you feeling any vibration in your seat? More than before it started?
Most the other suggestions are more likely but just in case those aren't it ...
