Has anyone noticed that for 2007 the Road Glide has apparently gained 30 lbs while the Street Glide has lost 12 lbs? Is there some significant change that I'm not seeing that would account for this? Just curious. Looks like most of the other bikes have gained a few pounds. Just seems odd that the Street Glide would get lighter while the others get heavier.
Personally I would say that the factory fuel mileage figures are slightly suspect as well. They don't vary within a family of bikes. So while the Heritage Softail Classic weighs only a pound or two less than a Road King Custom, the gas mileage is as much as 8 mpg better for 2007. On the other hand, A Road King Custom weighs 80 lbs less than an Ultra yet gets the same gas mileage? Is the MoCo just lazy or does the difference between an "A" and "B" motor that significant? The torque figures are a little different.
