Hey Gang...
I'm an old time HDF member, but new to this forum. A $200 rental weekend in Vegas just cost me $20,000. Well, not quite that much with my trade. Still, I traded my 2006 Wide Glide for a 2010 FLTRX Road Glide today. It's the most comfortable bone stock bike I've ever ridden. I'm just not sure how long it will remain bone stock.
First on my list is a Klock Werks wind screen. I'm looking for opinions on and recommendations for the screen height, so fire away. Next is a 3-point quick release mount so I can swap out a simple passenger back rest and a king tour pack. God only knows what else I'll blow money on.
Looking forward to getting to know the members here.
Welcome to the touring section, normally I would comment on how ugly the RG is but I like that color alot. I hang in the Dyna section a bit and I have to say they are very frugal compared to these guys here.
Once you get the 4 point docking hardware and king pak, you'll be wanting some lowers!
Nice scoot. I suggest going for comfort first like hiway pegs and whatnot then anything goes!

Yeah...I know many don't like the shark nose, but it works for me. I rented an Ultra and the RG and the RG's stationary fairing was so much easier in the wind. Plus, I like a modern look and to me the RG fits.
Moco calls the color scarlet red, but it looks almost orange to me. I'll be easy to see, which is nice given the stock exhaust sounds like a sewing machine.
