Default Table Lifts

Just wondering what everyone else thinks about having your own table lift for the bike. I'd like to start doing all my own maintenance and think that it would pay for itself over a couple of years. What does everyone think-a waste of money or buy one if you can afford it?
Also recommendations for which one to buy if I did get one.

Cheers

A table lift is the only way to go . I bought mine form Harbor Freight for $279 3 years ago. There are better ones, but why spend $1500 on a lift that you aren't making a living off of. I have never liked the small bike jacks, other than to just stabilize the bike.Hope that helps.

Just bought the Harbor Freight 1200lb table lift 2 weeks ago. No more sitting or laying on the concrete for me! Get one.

Handy lift with drop out, clamp and jack. Best 800 I ever spent for my bikes. It is in the way sometimes, but I roll it out of the shop then. I park the bike on it and use the roll off stand to hold it vertical just to save floor space.

I welded this one up several years ago. I couldn't live without it!

I bought the plans on-line.

It would cost more to build today than you can buy a nice lift table. Back when I built it steel was a lot cheaper than it is today.

Unless you are just wanting a project to work on I would just buy a pre-made lift table and you will save $$$.
