Winter mods complete...Result-satisfaction!
So here's the new additions. I needed some new tires since the rear's were getting squared so I took this opportunity to upgrade. I bought a set of DNA 18" Mammoths (3.5 up front, 4.25 out back) from ebay vendor superiormcsupply. They gave me a smokin' deal, but they didn't have the rear in-stock. No worries, DNA right here in Gardena, CA shipped them directly to my residence. Since they were nearby, I picked up a set of Super Spoke rotors at their shop. DNA is more of a mass productions level joint so don't expect to find your typical gearhead there to shoot the ****.
Since I was going to work on the front end, I figured this to be a good opportunity to do the '08-'10 Brembo brake conversion. And since I was going to mess with the brakes, I figured what the hell!...I'll get some stainless lines as well. Picked up the SS lines from ebay vendor hcccycles (more on this place later
Oh, and I did a little a research on tires and Badbagger here in the forums steered me to the way of the Pirelli Night Dragons.
So, slowly but surely, all the items started to come in. Fast forward to just recently got around to installing everything. The front wheel had some spacer issues as the new Brembo calipers were extremely close to the rotors. I resolved that and they fit pretty well. The rear wheel had no hiccups whatsoever. Maybe the newer stuff from DNA fits better as the front wheel came from New York and it looked as if it was sittin' for awhile.
Went out for a test ride after I got everything lined up and mounted and to my dismay, I noticed scratches to my front fender! Turns out the SS lines from hcccycles hit the fender during my rotor break in. I positioned the lines (hard part of the lines) as close to the fork legs as possible and they scratched up the fender. Wrote to hcccycles and explained to them what happened and they didn't know what to do. Now, the SS lines were their "in-house" lines that sold $10 cheaper than the Russell's and it came without any instructions. Contacted hcccycles and they didn't have a resolution. As a resolution, I only asked if they can include some instructions with tips in their "house" SS lines. We'll see if they do. If I were to do it over again, I'd have gone with the Goodridge lines. Did one on my friends' E-Glide and they were far better as in terms of quality and correct fitment.
Besides the SS lines scratching up the fender, the new wheels and brakes are very nice. I don't notice any difference in handling and the new wheels seem like the roll smoother. The brakes just take a light touch with a ton of feel to it. (although I think I slightly bent one of my rotors during mounting as I feel a slight pulsation, but I'll give it a few hundred miles). Haven't stretched her legs yet on the highway, but around town no problems.
And....here are the pictures!

oklahoma...great state, nice folks. was stationed out there in Tinker, but I don't miss riding in 30 degree weather, not including wind chill. I love their gun laws!!!! heard it was a white Christmas there this year.
r8rs4lf - they sell wheels besides spoked, frames, forks, controls, bleeder screws, and a lot more stuff. They even have a roller chopper and bobber in their catalog. I had to order a few hours before pickup since they don't have some items in stock. They're a warehouse sort of place. Their website isn't current though. They have different wheels in their 2008 catalog namely the Envy Black and C2 Black that look pretty nice (they have the shadow treatment).
Don't mind the scratch on the right tailpipe. Thanks in part to the foreign exchange student that cut me off.
