Default Exhaust gasket

I have to remove my exhaust from the front cylinder. Is it necessary to replace the crush gasket?
Ride safe,
Mike

How many miles? Ive reused them on my own bikes several times with no leak issues. But they are cheap enough to replace!

Not necessary, but advisable. Why wouldn't you? Not like they're expensive.

Be sure to get a couple of them, because they are a pain in the *** to get in. Harley also makes some Screamin Eagle gasket that are like square O rings. They are easy to install and don't seal for crap. The tapered ones are the best.

I only replace them about every 3rd or 4th time. Unless you are using the good HiPo ones then I replace them almost every time.

I've never been a big fan of reusing gaskets. I always replace them no matter how good they look. Peace of mind at the very least.

To me it would suck to put it back together only to find out that you should have replaced a cheap gasket.
