Sharp Looking Paint Doc, how you just need to fashion a plow to the front for these aweseome Michigan Roads!!!
For sure! and studded tires. except if you think it's bad with cagers in the summer, remember Michiganders don't "remember" how to drive in the snow until the last snow of the year!
Hoping to get the rest of the parts back mid next week, I want to keep my eye out for an inner fairing that will fit, have it painted and install it next off season, not sure if I'm gonna go same color, or maybe the sparkle gloss black that my dash is being done in. Also want to powder coat the wheeles (9 spoke mags) black and red, and the switch housings gloss black. Then maybe I'll be done (yeah right!) LOL

depending how good the tour pack looks with prmium hinges, I'll try not to post anymore till she's done, (But I'm as excited as a fat kid locked in a donut shop overnight!)

I'll try to wait till it's all together, then do that.
Jim, when I did the repaint on my bike I did a series of threads identified as "Update (insert #)" and included a link to the last thread when posting a new one. I believe this was the last:

Jim, I wanted a candy/pearl red and spent some time comparing paint forumlas supplied by the local PPG distributor for HD Red Hot Sunglo, HD Crimson Red Sunglo, and PPG's "Vibrance" line Candy Apple Red. All of them are a three-stage (base, tinted clear, clear) paints. The tinted clears in each had similar solids with "Emberglo" being the solid that provides some "flop" and the gold sparkle.
So the painter shot silver base, candy red with House of Kolor Kandy Red Concentrate, the tinted clear used for the Vibrance Candy Apple Red, and clear.
I'm not sure what you mean by "fairing caps." They're HD vented fairing lowers with the Hog Tunes Fairing Lower Speaker Kit.
