I had the Bagger Brace. Fit and finish was perfect. Directions and pictures were very helpfull. Bike felt tight the min I left the drive way. I did have a little more vibration in the bars at idle. Didn't bother me because I bought the bike to ride not idle.
does an 06 need this? what are the symptoms that these thing cure?
Yeah, unfortunately, the 06's have it too. You ever notice when your going through a fast sweeping turn and hit a bump or dip in the road and it feels like you've got a hinge in the middle of your bike? Not a good feeling, more than a little disconcerting and depending on the circumstances can knock you off of your line and cause you some problems (cement and asphalt are painful). I went with the progressive link and a velvaride front engine mount and it really tightened the bike up. I definately carry more speed through the same sweeper that caused problems before with no drama. I've got more engine vibration but wouldn't trade the huge benefit in handling to get rid of the vibration (it's not that much more, especially at cruise speeds). I'd be interested if there was a comparison between vibration levels with all of the different brace setups. Has anyone here heard of such a comparison?
Just had the Progressive Rear Stabilizer installed on my 06 Ultra. Haven't really put it to the test yet, but did notice a stiffer ride home, with as stated above added a little more felt engine vibration.

man, I guess I havent really felt that on mine, I weigh a lot does that make a difference? Mine is in a million pieces right now but when I ride it again I will pay more attn.
so what all is recommended? is there front and rear ? left / right?
I have yet to have the high speed wobble on my bike which I attribute to keeping good tires and air pressure checked weekly, but for piece of mind with my better half riding, I'm going with a Brace. I think you guys are right, they all work, just depend on which way you go and how much you want to spend.
