i dont mind the vibration of the A motor at idle, I kinda like it I'm serioulsy considering the denim, I love the looks I just wasen't sure of the up keep.
By the denim and I'll trade my vivid black sheet metal with you. Seroiusly, I had a cross bones with denim black paint and I loved it. Low maintanence IMO. I have an 09 so I didn't have the option in Denim. Definitely get cruise control. Its a must have on long trips. Also ABS is a great option as well. I've used it several times already. LOL
Good luck and welcome (early) to the mysterous world of land sharks.

Same dilemna I had 2 months ago. Dealer had one in vivid and one in denim. I liked the denim until I found out they charged more. I just could not get myself to pay extra for a non-shiny paint job (principles). I did splurge for the cruise, as I had it on my 05 FLHT and loved it.
As for exhaust, I opted for the HD nightstick and put an open end cap on it for sound. The shields and slip-on are headed to my pc'er for ceramic, as I don't have the coin for a full black exhaust, besides...there aint much to choose from yet, but I am sure there will be.
I have the black denim and love the look. It's love hate color for sure. If you have to make a choice now get it with abs. You can add the cruise but not the abs.
I would have to say Vivid Black and don't even think about NOT having cruise control it is the only way to fly they have it dialed in these days and it works!
I ride with some guys that have denim but they are not estatic about it after having it for a while with the wear and tear. With a conventional paint job you can always rub things out pretty good. Do they make another color other than Vivid Black?
