street glide 09 audio help.....
hi guys...
now i ride 09 SG
before this i ride 07 Ultra, the thing i really like when ride Ultra is i can hear the music via the provided headset.
when i sold the ultra, i didnt give the headset to the buyer, now i still had the headset.
is it possible to use the headset on my 09 SG so i can hear the music via headset ??
what modification i should do ? anyone did this ? please guide on what should i do....
listen music w/o headset is pretty annoying and not clearly heard..
i dun need the CB, the only thing i want is i can hear the music via HD oem headset......

a) get a amp and speakers - affordable
b) get the ultra tank dash and supporting wiring...look in the HD P&A book for the hard parts, the touring parts book for the other stuff - lot less affordable

Harley has a kit for the sg so the radio can play thru headsets. I put one on my 09sg this past fall, kit cost $395 from local dealer and install took me about 3 hours. It doesn't replace the stock tank cosole just adds a hookup for the headset, best thing is it comes with a hookup for passenger so the wife and I have intercom now.

i think even wif a stronger amp and speaker, wont sound clearly like sound from headset....
coz there is wind distortion etc....
so the choice only find a way to connect the headset to the headunit....
