What do Baggers do for a living?
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I have been blue collar all my life.
Spent 30.8 yrs with GM and retired in June of 06.
Tried running my own business hauling autos with my F-350 and a three car wedge trailer. When fuel prices got to almost 5.00 a gal. I bailed out.
I had also done 4 yrs in the USMC back from 82-86 I joined when I was laid off from GM for fear my sub-pay would run out. I was guaranteed avionics and did I level maintenance on the F-4 Phantom AWG 10 Fire control radar system. Returned with GM after discharge, and joined the Mo. Air National Guard working on INS on the F-4. We got the Eagle in 91 and I worked on it until 08 when I had to go to Whiteman AFB to work on the Stealth.
Been with them since 8/88 and just became a full time Technician with them 12/07. So at 52 yrs old I have started my third "Career" working avionics on the B2 Stealth Bomber. (I'd rather be back working on the F-15 Eagle, but RUMSFELD thought differently,,, and after screwing up the BRAC, he resigned anyway,,
I am now working at Seymour Johnson AFB in NC, where we will retire! Started here in June of 2011... avionics on the Strike Eagle!
Sorry so long,, guess when your old, you have more to say? Although I see I am not the only one retired on here. LOL
