Default socket removal help

I have a 2008 Road King and want to powder coat the passing lamps/front turn signals. I'm trying to remove the sockets from a six wire amp connector. I have been able to remove sockets from the two wire connector using a pick. I have read the post from "Mud" on how to remove the sockets but am unable to remove the sockets from the six wire connector. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I will attempt to attach a picture of the connector.

You should be able to release them with a sharp pick. The manual will tell you how.

Snap on sells a $80 socket for this exact purpose. I think it is like a 9/16 deep-well, notch socket. Check the net or your owners manual for size. I am out of town or would check the tool box in the garage for you.

OP is not speaking of removing the lamps, just the pins from wiring connector

I've tried the paper clip, small screw driver and bought the pick (tt600-3)from snap-on that the manuel suggested. I have drank about a case of Ice House during this project and I can't get the wires out.

I've used a very small jewelers screwdriver to push them out. Someone recently posted a tool at JP Cycles I bookmarked that's pretty cheap.
