Old School is the New School that the previous Old School was referring to just before they all kicked the bucket, and the trend goes on, and on, and on, and ...
Pretty much what I thought.
I have been riding for something over 40 years. I started riding back in the 60s. I made a lot of my own parts and "Customized" my bikes out of nessecity and lack of available parts and money.
I have two friends who have been riding for about 10 years, wouldn't know where to start making their own parts, couldn't customize a pie plate without looking at a book and then hire somebody to do the work, ride new bikes with all the comforts and call themselves "Old School" because their bikes are flat black air cooled Harleys, they wear illegal helmets and have posters of Charles Bronson in their garages.
NOW, I ride a, pretty much bone stock, bike, the only thing I fab now are tools, and I will be one of the first in line when water cooled Harleys hit the market. I guess I have worked my way up to "New School". Cha Ching!
