I love mine, but I have to say that the road king is a more comfortable ride. Mines not too bad, but if I ride for more than a few hours it can get uncomfortable. You will have to spend some money on getting a new seat that can help a lot. But thats the ONLY thing that I dont like about my SG.

I went from a hot rodded 02 Fat Boy to an 09 FLHX and never looked back. I have been extremely happy with it.

SG's are a great bike. I picked up an '10 just because my son bought one.
One thing.....insurance on the SG was alot more than my RG. like $200/yr more

Depends on what you expect to do with it. If you plan on doing long trips or weekend rides with the better half or ride year round, the Ultra is the way to go. Cheaper to take off the tourpack and lower fairings than to get the SG and buy those items seperately. Either way SG is a sweet ride too.

I went the other way. I bought the bike I wanted, a 2009 Streetglide, and then added the Tourpack, lowers, and a Sundowner seat. I have the cool style of the SG and can ride it all day long. Did 500 miles per day out to Sturgis and felt great.
