I know some of you have XM on thier bikes. I dont have it on my bike, but do have it in my car. Well I had a free 3 month trial of XM everything. Today the bill came and they wanted $46 for 3 months. So I called and told them I wanted to cancel because i didnt want to pay that much for it. So they offered me the same package for $20 for 5 months. $4 a month I could not pass it up. Just thought I would share for some of you who have the XM
Kinda like cable tv huh ? Call them up and negotiate. I will be starting mine back up in mid April. I think I'll call them for a deal on a 6 month package vs. accepting an on-line deal...

they have deals they will offer when you say you are going to leave.
i have paid $70 a year for the since 2006. i cancel, and call a week after. i tell the rep i will pay 70 and only 70 for the year. they hem and haw, sometimes say no, and i call back. be persistent, and keep calling. if you get a NO, say goodbye, hang up and call back.
i won't pay a dime over 70 bucks for the year.
i initially learned of this on another auto forum.
they will set up auto renewal at full price at the end of the year, so you have to cancel after 12th month, so that you do not get billed. they will renew even if you say you wanted a one time charge... ask me how i know. that was a 30 minute fight to refund the charge last year.
