I was just wondering which had more weak areas. i see that their is a problem with the radio bracket wearing through the outer fairing on some sharks and alot of broken mounting brackets on the batwings, just wondering which is a weaker fairing and what other issues they have
Not an expert in this area, however I had to replace my batwing fairing brackets and a few
other minor things and I am sure the 2010 Shark will have some issues down the road. No major issues with my 2006 E G with 33000 miles. Shark only has 3000. Of course, any issues upcoming on the Shark will be under warranty. This is a Harley and if you follow this Forum you well know that there are problems with most new Harleys, some more serious than others. I have a recall now on my 2010 RG, on a gas tank front mount. SO it goes. But i know what you mean and we all want to be as informed as we can, BEFORE we pull the trigger.......hdman

Think it is more than the RGs thousands of HD touring models
i went shopping for a used, latemodel roadglide and ended up with a clean used electra glide.my previous scooter was an '81 FLT tourglide(the original roadglide...)updated with an evo.i loved the bike, but hate the AMF stigma and lack of parts available.
i really enjoy my EGC,but would take another roadglide in a heartbeat.the day may even come when i convert my bike to a roadglide.
someone earlier commented on roadnoise,etc..,but i really felt more highspeed stability on the roadglide over my EGC.
