Default Pop up headlights in a fairing?

I was just thinking up what would be something different and unique to add to the touring platform. What if you added some popup headlights to a full fairing, much like the corvettes use to run, or hide away headlights like the old (60's era) charger? Anyone out there care to sketch the idea?

That would be cool in a RG fairing, kinda has simular lines as a 60's vette with the flip around lights.

Cool look on a show bike, but if you are required to have your lights on at all times, kind of defeats the purpose.

You could go with smaller passing lamps similar to having fog lights on a car or something. I think the idea is pretty cool.

Yeah, that would look cool on a Roadie. Imagine a flat cover over the existing head light cavity that spins horizontally 180 degrees at its centerline, changing from a smooth flat surface to some cool dual lights. Sweet...

Weight would be the only issue I could think of.

I bet a motor and servo mechanism wouldn't weigh any more than some of the high power stereo amps people are installing up front. The lights are already there and many Roadies already have a flat cover over the lights.

Someone with fabrication skills could put together a cool kit.

I would think the question should be, will it all fit inside of the fairing?

Where there's a will, there's a way. Not my cup of tea, but it would certainly make heads turned when parked at the local shop, or at the big rallies. Plenty of attention I'm sure.
