My wife was having the same issue. I bought the Kuryakyn Adjustable foot pegs for her cured the problem because she can get her feet up higher and relieve the stress from her legs having to reach for the floorboards plus she can change up when she needs to.

I saw this post and took a ride to my local dealer today. They had an Ultra Classic with the old set and a Ultra Classic Limited with the new seat. The new seat is about 1+ inch lower. They said Harley has them in stock so I ordered one, $169.00 plus tax. I should see it in about a week. Anyone out there want a very slightly used Ultra seat?

Does it move you back from the bars or nearer?

My only concern would be that they took all the padding out of the seat to lower it. Will this seat be as hard as the reach seat is reported to be?

My wife get numbness in her legs after just 2 hours or so..

Any body have any suggestions for her that won't change my riding position? She is 5'2" 130ish. She says the seat keeps her legs too far apart and her hips and legs go numb.

Thanks
I have this set for my wife, got from J&P: http://www.jpcycles.com/ProductDetai...&cs=Harley

She loves them, and they don't get in my way. Hope it will help ya .

No the 09/10 seat pans had a hump molded into them about a inch high my understanding is the new seat is back to a flat pan
