Just had the iginition fork lock changed out last week as per the recall. Now the plastic cover under the key lock vibrates and is loose? I took it back to the dealer and they looked at it compared to other batwinged models and have determined that there is a good possibility that there will be an update to the fork lock recall.
It seems the new components under the fork lock are smaller? They're not sure but they know it's not right.
They said to give them a call back in about a month to see if there has been an ammnedment to the recal.
Had my bike in on wed. they would not do the recall for ignition lock. They did not go into details why. Dont seem to have any problems with it anyway.
Is there some place you find all of these recalls and TIB's. I'm a claims adjust for cars, I look at these all day but we pay for access to this for all car lines.
