Default Power commander usb or FuelMoto version

Hello anybody have experience with the new fuelmoto branded power commnader?
It doesn’t look to be an exact copy and the fuelmoto site doesn’t indicate the 2yr warranty
they do on the PC3usb version. Seems like a good deal (239) but am I missing something?

Thanks

For an extra $60, you can go with a PCV which can be upgraded later to autotune if you choose. I don't know much about your question, sorry, but for the future versitility, the PCV's a good option.

I just installed the PCV from Fuel Moto about an hour ago. Friggin bike runs 100% better. I'm doing a 103 build this spring and will add the Auto Tuner. Jamie at Fuel Moto will take care of. Give him a call.

I don't believe there is a benefit to the PCV on your 07 unless you want to add the auto tune. I'd get the Fuelmoto branded but you might call them to see if there's really a difference from the PC111.

Why do I get the strange feeling this thread is going to turn into a commercial? I personally would want a warranty.

I like to do most (if not all) repairs and mods myself. Going with some of the other tuners, I would have to rely on the skills, expertise of someone else. The repeated cost of additional tuning was a factor as I continue to upgrade and tweak my ride. I looked at customer support and which platform would do what I wanted. Originally, I was looking to go with the SERT. I started asking around, talking to people I knew at the dealers, the indys, listened to their opinions and biases and came up with the decision that worked for me. The real world feedback with the wide band 02 sensors so I can see what my AF ratio's are was what put it over the edge. That's why I made my choice to go with the PCV with autotune.

It is the same thing as the Dynojet labeled PCIII minus the buttons on the front which you don't use anyway. I feel confident that they offer the same warranty on the one with their sticker on it as they do with the Dynojet one.

I guess if harleytuner was a platinum sponsor here, we would do commercials for him too....

SufrGemany asked a simple question. I never said I wouldn't but the FuleMoto one, he said the site didn't indicate if it had a warranty or not, I said I personally would rather have the one with the warranty.

No 2 bikes are the same, even with the exact same builds they are differn't. I'm not saying the MAPS won't work from one bike to the other, just that a "canned" MAP that you get from FuelMoto or anywhere else can more thanlikely be improved for our specific bike. What do you think PowerCammander does? How do you think they have the "canned" MAPS the are available for free on their website? The tune bikes and save the MAPS to give away for free. When I tune a Power Commander I get a free canned MAP from the PC website and make my adjustments from there. The commercial reference was out of line and I apologize. FuelMoto being a sponsor here is wonderfull for all of us. Because of sponsors like them it allows all of us the opportunity to be here for free. but I have read countless threads where someone will ask a specific question about another tuner (i.e. SERT, SEST etc.) and ofter about 3 or 4 replies all you read is about PC's when the author of the htread didn't even ask about it. It's great to inform people of their options but chances are they already know about it.

The Fuel Moto EFI Tuner is a Dynojet PC III USB sold under the FM brand. The only difference is like the PC-V the FM Tuner has done away with the broad range buttons. We offer the same 2 year warranty, and full product support and fuel maps are available from Fuel Moto and Dynojet. It is hard to beat the value of this tuner at $239.00
