I have one of the wally world push button LED's in the tourpac for night use. Works pretty good. Keep spare batteries with ya on trips. Also have a small mirror in there so wife can fix her self up on stops during the ride.
I actually have some that are battery operated and made for saddlebags, they actually come on automatically when the bags ar opened. I'll post the name when i get to the shop tomorrow go colts...afc champions!!!

You can pay big bucks for a decent wired solution...or you can buy a small keychain flashlight or one of the cheap "puck" lights for a couple of bucks. Personally, I do the puck light for a couple of bucks, keep a flashlight in the tool kit...and still have money left over to buy stuff.
Have a little 12 volt flourecent trouble light that plugs into the tour pack or fairing mt. power point, puts out a heck of a lot of light.Bought it at a truck stop a couple of years ago.Just had to cut off some of the cord, way too long. Also pack an LED light with head band.Great for the tent or trying to find an out house in the campground @2am
I have tried several lights in frustration I had some made. I am considering marketing them. let me know what you think. By the way, the units turn on with a touch sensor that is illuminated blue when LEDs are not on. Power consumption is approx. 2.88 watts and provides about 450 lumens per strip.
