I thought it was a funny movie and was excited when I heard they were making a sequel. Now I am disappointed that it won't happen. I am kind of surprised, studios are all about money and sure things. Sequels are something they love to make, easy money. Going above two gets a little risky, but they can almost always sucker us into the second one.
I really enjoyed the first movie, Tim Allen is good, Loved his Star Trek spoof and Big Trouble is a classic with some great performances.
Wild Hogs was funny and even respectful to a degree to the M/C's. As a rider I took no offense, it was a movie and entertainment.
Sorry to see the sequel was killed by Disney, but I suspect that Travolta and Allen could rustle up funding for an indie effort if they wanted. Be like Disney to kill the movie, and then refuse to sell it to someone else.
