Default Floor Boards

I'm desparate to find this particular floor board, so you made read this in more than one section of the forums. A while back a guy had a Springer on Ebay. This bike was a real eye catcher. On it, he had a set of floor boards that where the shape of a shoe sole. Very old school looking. Similar to the old "foot" gas pedals back in the day. They appeared to be an aluminum board, with no rubber insert. I think I read something in the description about "Moon" floor boards, but I am having no luck searching that. All I come up with on that, is the old half moon boards, and that is not what theese were. I have looked all over HeII and half of Georgia for theese things. Does anyone know what I am talking about, or where I can get them? Could be it was a "one off" custom made deal. Either way, they were definately old school, and what I want for my Road King build I'm doing now.

Not sure if this will help but they have a new set of floor boards in the 07 HD catalog that is sort of simalure to what you are saying. I am not sure of the part number.

I'd bet you he used the old Moon brand foot-shaped gas pedals they used to use in hot rods. Still do! Try some of the hot rod websites and vendors like Hotrod and Custom Supply in Minnesota (used to be in Cape Coral, Florida) and another one is in Lincoln, Nebraska.....Speedy"s? Something like that. Ludwig Drum used to have a bass drum pedal that was in the shape of a foot.......very cool.
Hope this helps.....good luck!

Now I recall........Speedway Motors in Lincoln, Nebraska. Huge place, fabulous museum.....if you get the chance to see it, don't miss it.

I am all but positive it is not these "pork chop" pads but thought I'd post this picture anyway.Hell you never know.

Derek is the footboard all aluminum or does it have a rubber center that is not an insert but built in the board?

Here they are. It's a moon equipment pedal. Guess the trick now will be fabricating the brackets for them. Thanks guys!
