Default Custom Light Mount?

I am looking into doing the custom passing lamp/directional mounting on my bike, and I want to make sure I'm looking for the right parts.

69228-04 and 69227-04A

Is that the only 2 parts I need to do this mod?

Anyone done this to their bike and have any feedback on doing it?

Anyone have these parts for sale used?

Thanks,

Steve

I have not done this change but it looks like that is all you need.

I did it. Thats all you'll need.
It's not an exact plug and play though, you'll have to do some wire work.
I spliced my original connectors onto the new wiring. Turned out well.
Can't beat the look IMHO!

I want to get rid of that bar going under the headlight and get rid of the pancake directional lights.

Zanotti's has both parts for right around $300 + shipping, so finding a used set would be nice if possible.

Or you can modify what you got, not a good picture but weve done some this way.

My issue wasn't so much with the towel bar - but rather with the crappy stamped side plates and pancake signals.

$300 is about what I paid through Zanotti's.
Never saw a complete used set on Ebay either. You might be stuck buying new?

Here's how mine look now:

Yup............that looks great.

That stock setup has bothered me for a while, I'm just getting around to looking to get rid of it. I found a set on Ebay, waiting for better pictures to arrive to make sure it's what I want.

Has anyone ever seen "black chrome" in person?

Found a set in black chrome, not sure what that means. It looks like chrome to me, but I would like to see it compared to normal chrome.

Simple installation, wire splicing was required for the spots. Make sure you take notice of your spot alignment before you take them off. Sit on the bike at a set distance from a wall or garage door and mark the center of the beams, that will get you real close. Nice and clean CVO look.
