Default Snowmaggadon

I know you northerners won't understand but, here in Virginia Beach they have shut down the whole city due to about 4 inches of snow, supposed to get 4-8 inches more and they are calling it Snowmaggadon 2010. I grew up in snow, its would be funny if it wasn't so dangerous watching people who have never driven in the snow. At this point there are accidents everywhere and they have news crews on over passes just videotaping cars spinning out on the highway because they are too stupid to slow down.

Yeah, I was in Raleigh a few years ago for business and they got a couple of inches of snow and you would have thought the world was coming to an end.

I live in Michigan and we have some of the same drivers who live here. Bad drivers in dry weather equals really bad drivers in snow. If you don't know how to drive in it as many in the warmer states then it could be tricky.

We have about three inches were I live in middle TN. Last night on TV they were listing the shopping malls that would be closed today due to snow. Goverment offices close around noon yesterday. I know you guys up north are getting a kick out of this.

Yesterday I was riding my bike at about 60 degrees. Today I was riding my quad in about 8 to 10 inches of snow.... Just got to make the best of the current situation.

I'm in the Williamsburg area and I just got back in, there are many cars in the ditches for not slowing down for the slippery condition.

You southern guy's need to look on the bright side... In a couple of day's the snow will be gone the roads will dry and you'll be back riding again. I'll be riding too... my snowmobile at least for the next 3 months. -14 degrees this morning before the wind chill.

I kind of get a kick out of it now I'm in Montana. Used to live in VA and I know exactly what you're talking about. Still have a son in No. VA, and he says it's a MESS... Blame Al Gore!
