Does anyone know if the mounts are pretty much the same on a 2009 model as on a 2008?
I have a Corbin Young Guns seat and want a Corbin Gambler for 2-up riding. Corbin has a nice one for 2009 Street Glide but on their website they do not show the Gambler for my 2008 Road Glide. I thought the seating area was pretty much the same on the 2009 model? I know the frame is a little wider but looking at the specs of the 2009 Gambler it is only 1/2" wider in the drivers seat. I have more than 1/2" clearence on my 2008. So if the front mount is the same and the bolts on the fender where the pin mounts is the same it should work.
WTF you don't believe me?? already told you the 09 seat will be about a inch or less longer on the nose where it meets the dash, mounts would be the same
LOL Leo, didn't think you would respond to the PM that quickly. Not sure what you mean. In the thread of the Hollywood seat it says there would be a 1" gap? It sounds like you are saying the 09 seat's nose would overlap the console on an 08. Do not really want either of those....I called Corbin on Friday about a Dual Tour to see if they could make it the same specs as the Young Guns, the Dual Tour is 2" shorter in the driver's seat and I could not deal with that. Corbin said they could move the Dual Tour back 2" but would have to lose the post for the driver's backrest and they could not make it with the key lock feature. After seeing your bike I was hoping they had a Gambler in my year and I could settle for that seat and switch them back and forth quickly for riding 2-up.

Really sucks.....
the link I sent you was for a 2008 seat same year as your bike
