Default Seat 2009 on a 2008 FLHTCU

I have a 2009 seat with a metal tab on the front. My 2008 has a cut-out in the seat where a tab on the frame secures it. Does anybody know it the 2009 can be modified to fit? Thanks

I think your seat is a 2007 and earlier.

going into 2008 is when the seat tab changed

you could try to modify your new seat removing the tab and making a receiver for the tab.

what ever you do, make sure it is secure, a loose seat on a bike can cause a spill

Thanks Mike, I'll just keep my 2008 seat. Don't want to take any chances.
