Heres my cheap ghetto mount. Reusable Velcro zip ties. About $4 for pack of 5. Cheap but works for now

I use a handlebar clip from

http://handlebarclips.com

Been using it for awhile now and no complaints. I just clip my mp3 player to it using the belt clip on the case I use. Not bad for $6.00.

Hey Greg ---- Somebody else just said it --- go to a Radio Shack & get the 12" cord that has a male on each end. One end plugs into the Ipod, the other plugs in next to the radio. (If you don't know where, there's a little black plug that pulls out & behind it there's a hole for the other male end.) I have an Ipod Touch, and for $18 I got an Ipod mount from RAM Mounts (do a Google search. ) Hooks to the handlebar, simple to install (even a caveman ---------- well, never mind!) and you can take the ipod off & leave the mount there. I like it. I have mine on the left bar of my EG Classic.

$6 is a nice price...seems like it would "droop" if I hung an Ipod Classice on it.

Hopefully you do not have an Ipod Classic.....it's a "spinning disc hard drive" and will not tolerate the vibration (trust me). iPod Shuffle, iPod nano & Ipod Touch are "flash" drives and will tolerate the vibration.

As far as mounting goes......You bought an Ultra, you gonna go cheap now?

Do this.......(if you have a nano).

Believe it or not...I rode for 2 years with my Ipod Classic strapped to my tank panel on my Nightrain, which is "slammed" down 2", with no damage to it. They're alot more durable that people think they are.
