wax buffers?

wax buffers?

Any recommendations on little power buffers for waxing the bike. Like to find one under $75. Thanks

I found that most buffers are to big for a bike, I went to a paint supply house and bought a set of 4" heads and use them in my electric drill they work real well and are small enough for a bike.

Walmart sells a small one that I use on my boat, it's a 6". But it would be very difficult to use it on a bike. I think the paint would have to be in very bad shape to need it on a bike. I use it on the boat because of the size of it.

porter cable are best,, 4 inch but gonna cost ya more then $75

I think a few companies now make a power ball that you attach to the drill and I remember seeing them at a auto supply house.Mothers makes a polishing ball and another company is Fitz.

I use the Fitz. You will need 2, one for the wheels and the other for the paint and chrome. If you use one on the wheels, remember, no matter how clean your wheels look, there will always be brake pad particulates/dust that the polishing pad will pick up. Paint is not as forgiving as chrome. Further, I the Honda brand aerosol clean & wax. Stuff is amazing. Probably the same as HD but less expensive.
